The sinusoidal filter smoothes the PWM signal from the frequency converter and converts it to an almost perfect sinusoidal signal to the motor.

• Allows the use of longer supply lines
• The sinusoidal filter on all phases also allows the use of unshielded motor lines.

Operating the motor without a sinusoidal filter can cause several problems, such as premature aging of the motor insulation, sensor interference, etc.
