Consulting - Measurement - in area of EMC and EMF interference suppression

We perform measurements and interference suppression in the field of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), including the design of comprehensive solutions and services with 25 years of experience.

As part of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), we offer and perform a number of special measurements in the field of electromagnetic interference with maximum measurement reliability. Measurements are performed to ensure the functionality of electrical equipment, which aims to determine, for example, the cause of incorrect behavior of electronic systems, their accidental or repeated damage, power supply quality and level of electromagnetic interference at the site before system installation, pre-certification interference measurement, measuring the shielding efficiency electromagnetic environment), attenuation of the filters or determination of the resistance of the equipment to various types of interference. Furthermore, the company offers technical assistance, consultation of the structural arrangement from the point of view of EMC and proposals for measures to reduce the amount of interfering voltage. We determine the relationships between individual systems or system elements so that during their operation there is no mutual negative influence by electromagnetic interference. Our measurements also make it possible to find, for example, the cause of monitor image oscillations, damage to computer network equipment or their unreliable function, problems with the operation of uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), etc. We use the top performance of spectrum analyzers and sensors. We also offer measurement of interference voltage conducted over the network in the frequency band 9kHz to 30MHz and based on the measurement results, we will prepare a protocol, a technical report in which we assess the levels of interference according to relevant standards. In case of an unsatisfactory result, we will find out the cause of this condition and propose measures to eliminate the problem. By prior arrangement, the measurement may include the installation of an interference filter (sine filter) and subsequent re-measurement until the desired result is found.

What is electromagnetic compatibility and what does it deal with?

The increasing number of more complex electrical equipment, together with the expansion of all types of telecommunications and radiocommunication services, results in the emergence and undesirable effects of various types of interfering electromagnetic signals. These signals make it difficult or even impossible for the operation of the surrounding sensitive receivers, but can significantly affect any electrical equipment, including technology, computers and data transmission. The mutual functional coexistence of electrical equipment of various kinds is therefore the main reason for the increasing interest of the professional and lay public in the issue of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is defined as the ability of a device, system or apparatus to function properly in an environment in which other devices operate and, conversely, not to influence its own environment and thus the devices located in it by its own activities. However, we must not forget the often unspecified, but logical addition to the definition of EMC - the device must not interfere (affect) itself. Electromagnetic compatibility, as a separate scientific discipline, originated in the 60's in the USA and for a relatively long time (8 to 15 years) was the subject of interest of only a narrow circle of experts in electrical engineering working in a narrow field of military and space industry. With the rapid development of electrical engineering, especially microprocessor-cybernetic systems, increasing performance and expanding frequency bands, replacing metals with plastics, increasing transmission rates, i.e. digitization and other technologies. In recent decades and the transition to the 21st century, EMC has penetrated virtually all areas of everyday life and increasingly touches the entire civilization.
